 she went for a long walk with me and the dogs to map out our halloween trek. he carved his pumpkin all by himself. we are getting so excited for tomorrow. i know charlie brown is in our future, we looove charlie brown holiday cartoons!

i guess i talk about my dream beach house a lot. he said he will sew a sock monkey and then sell it so he could buy me one. what a generous heart he has.

sick days, chicken soup, card games, lysol, out my kitchen window after the rain.

still sick and gloomy, we made turbo paper airplanes and played inside most of the day.

the birthday party was after school at the park. his whole class was invited. he was so excited. he made her a necklace and a space picture for her gift. then he got sick and couldn't go to her party. he was worried that he couldn't give her the gift. we got the present to her and she said "i am going to wear it everyday".

there was thunder and lightning all night. the excitement and electricity keep them up way past their bedtime. bed covers flew over their heads with every roar of thunder, and their eyes stayed wide open.

it rained on and off today. we took all the dogs for a walk, one at a time, and each time we passed hi. we said hi back and smiled.

this is what i brought home from the fall festival! the cookies were warm and fresh, the ice cream was thick and creamy. what a perfect couple. i used a fork to devoure it.

he very carefully stacks the rocks over and over until they are perfectly balanced,then happily knocks them down and moves on. i love how children live in the moment.

she took this picture for me on the way to friday dinner. it instantly reminds me of a place where everyday is a better day, except for the day we saw clouds like these. dinner and company was wonderful. an exciting thunderstorm did follow, even though it was like 90 degrees at night.
