today is one of those cold so.cal. days. thankfully it isn't so cold we have to shovel our way to the mailbox. it's just a jacket and scarf cold. but it's a perfect day to start my after christmas organizing and begin the year fresh goal planning. it's a start a fire and hot cocoa day. hope you have cozy plans today.
There are massive rustic Doug Fir beams in a gorgeous beach house in Santa Barbara. The scrap wood was to be discarded as construction debris. NOT! Hear the crackle of the glowing Fir in our fireplace now. Warm toes, with a happy glow. Hot cider and a good book day. That's the way of it! Love you.
