stop hitting me!

i can always tell it is here, summer that is, when i start hitting watermelons in the produce department. i really think it is just luck whether you get a sweet candy like melon or not. but i always look through the bin abusing each melon i pick up. i hit it and listen to the different sounds i can make, quite like a child. what am i listening for? perhaps a juicy whisper stating it is a sweet and delectable bite? what i hear every time is a hollow slap, which in watermelon language probably means stop hitting me! so far this season i have had decent luck with the melon, have you?

we had to try them first

first of all i have tons of pics. i just have to make it through the next few kraazyy weeks. it seems like all at the same time everything is coming to an end and new adventures are starting. i bought a cute mini donut maker so we can decorate donuts at her birthday party. well of course we had to try them first. they were so yummy! stay tuned more to come!
